Personal & Individual Testing FAQs

Does drinking a lot of water or fluid help you pass a urine test?
Drinking lots of fluids will dilute your urine. The majority of drug tests monitor the amount of creatinine in urine. So, drinking a lot of fluids is going to interfere with the natural creatinine levels. If the sample is too diluted the tester will be forced to take additional samples until a sample within range is provided.
Can you strip the drug metabolites out of hair samples using chemicals or products?
No. As the drugs or alcohol are processed in the body, metabolites are produced and embedded in the core of the hair follicle. Please be cautious of products making false claims as they can damage your hair or skin.
Can we test hair or urine from a sample collected by someone other than our testers?
Yes. We can test an unknown sample and provide results in the same manner as a standard collection. The difference is that we will not be able to confirm the identity of the individual who provides the sample. So, we can provide the results of the test, but we will not validate the results. In other words, the test can only be used for your information, but not in any official capacity.
Can you test an unknown substance or residue?
Yes. If you find a suspicious item that you would like tested, we are able to determine whether drugs are present. Please use Extreme caution when handling unknown substances. Do not touch the items without gloves. You must transport the item in sealed and secured packaging. There are serious risks with exposure to yourself and our staff. Many people are overdosing by simply touching certain drugs. Inform our testers prior to bringing any items.
Do you do DNA testing?
No. We strictly do drug and alcohol testing.

Types Of Opiates- Morphine, Codeine, Heroin, Opium.
Opioids are synthetic or partly-synthetic drugs that are manufactured to work in a similar way to opiates. Their active ingredients are made via chemical synthesis. Opioids may act like opiates when taken for pain because they have similar molecules.
Types Of Opioids- Methadone, Percocet, Percodan, OxyContin (oxycodone), Vicodin, Lorcet, Lortab (hydrocodone), Demerol (pethidine), Dilaudid (hydromorphone), Duragesic (fentanyl)
